A little sleeper of a training conference occurred here locally over the past weekend. Neither un-anounced or un-noticed, CAPE is always good for collecting a few training hours - and if nothing else, its cheap entertainment. The tested adage about two examiners and and argument was never so true.
Marty Martinez, current president of CAPE, provided some interesting information on test data analysis, and we had a look at some very interesting test data, from an examination on a notorious local psychopath.
Jaimie McCloughan, administrator here, donned an oxygen mask and an early morning flight to provide the CAPE members with some very interesting information on the CIT/GKT technique. Jaimie is a well organized presenter who offers a clear and sensible framework and foundation for this test. If you have a chance to hear him discuss it, do it.
It was a good day, and it was great to see so many examiners present.
